Ann McNamee is a musician, producer, composer, lyricist, creative consultant, and professor emerita. She holds degrees from Wellesley College (B.A.) and Yale University (Ph.D. in Music Theory), which led to a career teaching Music Theory and the History of Women Composers at Swarthmore College. Ann performed with and composed songs for the bands Flying Other Brothers, Ann Atomic, and Moonalice.
Currently, Ann is a producer, co-composer, and co-lyricist on a musical theater project entitled OTHER WORLD. The musical spawned a comic book series set to be released in 2026. With her husband Roger McNamee, Ann co-founded the award-winning Haight Street Art Center.
